HISTORY
ETHIC Groupe is a young company that owes its existence to the love of farming passed down from father to son.
Our history is rooted in the vision of a man who, in the early days of cooperatives, learned to work in the fields and market their produce from his father.
Based on his experience working alongside the farmers, he decided to train himself to participate in the growth of the agro-industrial sector and help the world discover the wonders of the Côte d’Ivoire.

1985-1988
KOMARA Aaron Ibrahima learned how to grow and market produce from his father, who was then a grower and president of the San-Pedro cooperative group known as “GVC”, then a delegate of the Union des groupements à vocation coopérative de Côte d’Ivoire.
A promising separation
After several decades of apprenticeship, Aaron Ibrahima KOMARA flew to the West to implement his training project to improve the production conditions of raw materials and farmers.
A fruitful return
After 25 years out of the country, Aaron KOMARA has returned with a Master’s degree in rural development, an MBA in trading and markets, and several years’ experience in commodity trading.
With foreign partners, they founded the San-Pedro cocoa cooperative.
The beginning of many small steps
San-Pedro Cacao will focus on the production and processing of cocoa into high-quality chocolate and various by-products.
San-Pedro Cacao enjoyed years of glory, taking part in the Salon du Chocolat in France, and winning an award from the Forum Francophone des Affaires for its various achievements.
However, the cooperative suspended its activities following the tragic death of its administrative and financial director.
Determination
Aaron KOMARA went on to found ETHIC Trade Côte d’Ivoire, an agricultural market speculation company.
The particularity of this company lies in the technical assistance it provides to growers, from soil preparation to harvesting, before buying back the entire harvest at preferential rates.
ETHIC Trade will be working with companies such as DACSA, the world leader in cereals.
The era of deployment
In 2024, ETHIC Group was born from the merger of San-Pedro Cacao and ETHIC Trade Land CI.
ETHIC Group has three different business areas.
ETHIC Trade CI for commodities trading.
Société Ivoirienne de Production de Riz (SIPRIZ), a company dedicated primarily to the production and processing of milled rice.
As soon as it is formalized, this company will collaborate with the State of Côte d’Ivoire to participate in the country’s policy of self-sufficiency in the production of quality rice.
AGRODEV, a company selling farming and agricultural production equipment, whose mission is to reduce the drudgery of agricultural work by providing modern equipment for the safe operation of plantations.
On the strength of these various achievements, ETHIC Group, though young, now intends to take up the challenge of producing quality materials for export from Côte d’Ivoire to the rest of the world.
